Women's Residential Services
Women's Residential Services is a 16 bed unit offering comprehensive
individual treatment for women recovering from chemical addiction. The
program is structured to help women with their chemical dependency as well as
addressing healthy self esteem, spirituality, optimal health, and
responsibilities of parenting.
Patients are offered evidenced based treatment curriculum which includes
Living in Balance, Helping Women Recover, Seeking Safety and Trauma Recovery and
Empowerment. Patients also receive individual, group and family
counseling. Curriculum also includes continued care planning, case
management services and after care planning. They are also provided with
services addressing health promotion/disease prevention, codependency issues,
domestic violence issues, healing from trauma and physical/mental illness
issues.
As an important aspect to successful recovery, the case manager
component offers assistance with interrelated issues such as Department of
Children and Family Services involvement, childcare, housing, legal and medical
services and financial assistance. The case manager assist's patient's
access services that address their specific, individual needs.
Recognizing the special issues women face, we take a holistic approach
toward empowering women with the ability to make good choice not only for
themselves but also for their children and their families.
