Position Available:
Residential
Counselor - Women's Residential - Afternoon Shift
Hours:
Thursday thru Tuesday, 3:00pm – 11:30pm
QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate Degree (Bachelors/Masters Degree Preferred)
in Behavioral Health or related field. Must have Illinois Certification in
substance abuse or become certified within two years of working in the
chemical dependency field; plus one or more years experience in behavioral
health or chemical dependency preferred. Must have a thorough knowledge
of the disease of alcoholism/addiction and its application to patient
care. Must have valid drivers license and minimal auto insurance.
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
Good organizational skills, ability to use logical
thinking to solve problems. Good short-term memory, good verbal
communication skills, ability to provide and follow effective written and
verbal instructions. Ability to effectively monitor and develop
subordinates when applicable. Ability to successfully complete training
and perform C.P.R. Ability to perform light physical work exerting up to
ten pounds of force on an occasional basis. Sitting, standing and walking
short distances are activities that the Residential Counselor
must perform.

HIV Early Intervention Counselor - Central Intake
Hours:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday - 9:00am to
5:00pm
Thursday - 11:00am – 7:00pm
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors Degree
in Behavioral Health, Social Work or related field. A minimum of two
year's experience in HIV/AIDS, Social work or Behavioral Health (Chemical
Dependency) preferred. Illinois Certification in Substance Abuse also
preferred. Ability to succesfully complete Counseling, Testing, Referral
and Partner Notification Home Study Course, and successfully complete DASA
HIV Early Intervention Protocol Training or provide proof of prior
certification. Must have valid drivers license and minimal auto insurance.

Developer/Trainer - Central Intake
Hours:
Monday thru Friday, 9:00am to
5:00pm
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors Degree and two years of experience as a job
developer, teacher and/or in social services. Must possess basic
knowledge of the signs and symptoms of substance abuse. Prefer that
the indidual also possess basic computer skills. Must demonstrate
the ability to teach patients job readiness skills. Must also be
able to motivate employers to hire TANF clients. Must have calid
drivers license and minimal auto insurance and be willing to engage in
travel in order to do job development and assist with patient home visits
as required.
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
Excellent oral and written communication skills are
required. Must also be well organized, a self-motivated employee, an
independent worker/team player, highly responsible, dependable and require
minimal supervision. Ability to perform light physical work exerting up to
ten pounds of force on an occasional basis. Sitting, standing and walking
short distances are activities that the Job Developer/Trainer
must perform.
